 Accidental Bonsai One of the main reason why anyone want a bonsai? So you can take it with you when you change houses. Easy to take care and amazing to look at. It is a hobby. Meaning you can spend lot of time and money to acquire and make bonsai without actually making money.  You can take a cutting and stick in a pot and call it a bonsai. At least that is what you see on the internet these days. Bonsai awareness is growing, local business is growing to sell raw material and semi finished materials. In my experience with Bonsai, most appealing bonsais are made by mistake. Most of my recent bonsai trees were left in a pot to grow somewhere under the tree. I had a very large Bougainvillea tree in the backyard. It was practically unmanageable and became a safe haven for snakes and all kinds of critters. So one day I decided to cut it down and dig it out. With pain I was able to get the entire tree out of the ground with lots of bruises and scratches. Pain was worth it. Took all...
